Swedish Biedermeier Art Deco Desk Handmade 1947

Swedish Biedermeier Art Deco style pedestal partners desk featuring tiger stripe golden birch  veneers on a birch frame in a classic French polish finish.
 
This Bieermeier Art Deco influenced desk is unique and  a real find and is a very special piece for the USA UK Europe or Far Eastern markets.
 
It has a COA from the Swedish Handicraft and Small Industry Organization dated Vännäs, 26 June 1947.
 
The desk is a stunning curved design featuring great storage in each of the pedestals and multiple shelving on the back. The french polished finish has a great sheen with an ormolu style band on the top edge and this biedermeier art deco influenced desk is in good condition for its age.
 
It was made in 1947 by Johan Vilhelm Karlsson.
 
The desk has three main drawers, 6 bentwood drawers in the left hand pedestal and good storage in the right pedestal with a single top drawer.
 
One of the finest Biedermeier Art Deco style influence desks we have ever found. Dims - Height: 74.5 cm Width: 150 cm Depth: 82 cm.
